Do I have to wash my baby’s clothes before he wears them? pt. 2

Wasn’t sure how to edit and ask on my last post but okay since most are saying to wash his clothes beforehand, what’s the best detergent to use? Or the one that you guys use? I’m new to this bare with me please

Baby detergent is unnecessary IMO. Use what your household uses since baby will come into contact with your clothing, blankets, etc. 
we use gain 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just got ALL because it  was on sale and I had a coupon lol

Use whatever you normally use. Baby will be coming into contact when toy hold them and stuff. No need to switch unless baby has a reaction. However we use free and clear detergent and have no issue. We get whatever brand is on sale

I use regular tide or tide free and gentle when i wash the laundry. Tbh i drop off my laundry and pick it up a majority of the time so i have no idea what they use, but my daughter is a preemie and it doesnt bother her at alllll. Sometimes i dont even wash the clothes before i put it on her and shes been fine. My mom says she never washed anything beforehand for me my brother and sister and we turned out fine so im going by her logic 🤷🏻‍♀️

When my daughter was younger I used  Dreft, she’s 3 now & uses the same detergent that we use, still wash her clothes separately

You can use dreft we use Gain. I have worked at hospitals and nursing homes as well as developmental centers and at all locations we used Gain to wash clothes and blankets for those with sensitive skin. So thats what i have used on all of my kids. But its up to you.

You can use whatever detergent with or without dyes/scent... Most people probably use no dye/scent for early on.. I did for like a month but then I just didn’t care cause my kids were ok with whatever we use. I go back and forth with ALL and Tide!
Dreft was absolutely horrible for my kids, so I’ll never recommend.
