Should I or should I not...

Yesterday was five days before my period. We were for sure we were gonna get pregnant since we had sex 3 days before ovulation and a day after ovulation. I took a clear blue test yesterday and it came back negative. Should I go off that test or should I take another one in a couple days that’s a pink dye. Was it to early to test? Has anyone took this test and come back neg then take a pink dye and it came back positive? I honestly don’t know what to do. Please anyone give me your opinions?
