Can’t find antenatal care

Rebecca

Hey fellow May mums!

I am exactly 8 weeks today and am getting a little concerned about zero appts coming up to see ANYONE and I can’t find a midwife. At 6ish weeks, I called 11 different midwives in my region and not one person could take on my care. They said that, due to covid, they are experiencing a lot more pregnancies than normal. My gp isn’t helping with anything and the early pregnancy clinic discharged me once they were sure everything is going well and to plan.

My biggest concern is that I’m classed as high risk due to this being my 9th pregnancy (2 children and 6 miscarriages) and my youngest son was born via crash csection at 30 weeks due to complete placental abruption. No one has been able to provide an answer for any issues I’ve had with pregnancies.

Is anyone else in the same boat re no appts booked for a midwife or obgyn or ultrasound or anyone? Is this unusual?

Also, I did have that scan at 6 weeks and 5 days to rule out a missed miscarriage. Just for fun, any ramzi theories? This was taken transvaginally. As I have nothing booked to look forward to, I’m trying to keep things light. I’m getting jealous reading about all your appts coming up.
