BV: Bacterial Vaginosis

I’ve been struggling with BV for the last nine months. My boyfriend and I are both military (I’m reserves and he’s active duty) and he’s coming home for 4 weeks for Christmas. I’ve tried everything. I was told to take a salt water bath, or try soaking a tampon in saltwater for ten minutes and then put it up in there and leave it for about 3 hours twice a day. Nothing was helping.

I had read up about getting on antibiotics for BV and all I heard was negatively and how they DO NOT WORK, or if it does kill the bacteria causing the foul smell it will also kill the good bacteria in your vagina.

When I say I was desperate I was DESPERATE. I would literally cry thinking about my boyfriend having to come home from being overseas and smell my vagina that I could smell through my clothes. It was embarrassing. No matter what I did. Showers didn’t help, absolutely nothing helped. I had almost given up when I decided to start researching again.

Boric acid? Hmmm. I had seen people taking it orally and some said it worked, others said it didn’t. Then I found the boric acid suppositories. Boom 🙌🏼. I quickly searched on the web and found them on Target’s website and CVS.com. The reviews seemed too good to be true. The 214 “5 star ratings” on Target.com seems unreal. Everyone was raving about these boric acid capsules curing not only BV but yeast infections as well. Why not right? I decided to run to CVS and give it a go.

The first night I inserted one of the capsules into my vagina and went to bed. I woke up to pee early in the morning and realized i was oozing that capsule. (Not a crazy amount but a little bit) Then I realized something was off. No smell? None not at all?! I couldn’t believe it!!! “There’s no way,” I thought. But there was. I was so happy I wanted to scream. The next morning and through out the day i didn’t once notice the foul odor that had been coming from between my legs for months. I inserted another capsule the next night. And the next. And the next. And I’ll continue doing so for the next 2 weeks and then one a week until I use all of the capsules. When I say this boric acid changed my life... I mean it. Believe the reviews ladies. It’s unbelievable but once you try it you will not be disappointed. I’ll post an update a month from now but I no longer have a stinky water discharge nor do I notice the smell at ALL. Not even after I insert a capsule in with my fingers.

I encourage anyone struggling with BV and foul odor to give this boric acid a shot. Why? Because it worked for me and I felt hopeless. You won’t be disappointed.
