I think I'm in love 🥰🥰

So I tried the dating thing. I quickly found out, no one wanted to chat for longer than a day, unless sex was involved. This went on for some time, until I met him.

I went to his house the first time we met and I met him and his kids. His son ran from the door the moment i pulled up, hugged me and said "I love you" with the biggest grin on his face. Instantly melted my heart. He made us all dinner, which was really good, had ice cream and started to watch a movie. But then his daughter started feeling ill and our night got cut short so he could tend to her. I really couldn't begrudge him. Our children will always come first, and I totally understood that. I have 2 son's of my own. He thought that was going to be the end of it. Instead, I complemented him on what a wonderful father he was and to his surprise I was still interested.

We learned more about eachother and so we decided to go on a second date. I live in the middle of no where and on dark nights you can see every star, so I suggested star gazing. We went a little off-roading to find a spot that overlooked the small town I live in and basically spilled our guts to each other. That night we spent our first night together. It's only gone up from there.

We eventually spent more time together, just cause we enjoyed each other's company. I've never been with such a sweet, intentive guy. Anything I ever need he jumps, which is not something I'm used to. He cooks and he cleans. And the effort he shows kind of blew me away.

I keep catching myself wondering how I ever got so lucky. He's told me he's falling and I have to say the feeling is absolutely mutual. Honestly I feel like I'm back in high school. The butterflies that I once thought were dead are dancing. I look at him and realize I don't ever want to lose him. I absolutely adore him. I think I'm in love, and honestly I couldn't be happier.
