Vagina smells like death and decay, should I go to ER?

My vagina for the last week has smelled like actual death. I just finished my period (4 days ago) but it has NEVER smelled like this. I've also had BV and it doesn't feel like BV (but who knows). I called my doctor he can't seen me until October 29th. There's no pain, no abnormal discharge. I'd say some swelling-outside of the dead body smell-is the only other symptom. There's no forgotten tampon and i haven't had intercourse in about a month now.

While highly unpleasant this isn't an emergency room visit. I'd go to your local walk-in or call your gyno (assuming you called your primary physician your post didn't specify)

Call your doctor I’d say, in the mean time if you could get your hands on probiotics the ones that help regulate vaginal health and bacteria, cranberry tablets as well as an apple cider vinegar bath.

All of the people saying call your doctor after she's already said the doctor can't get her in until the end of the month 🤦🏾‍♀️. But yes try urgent care, you don't want to have your purse in that condition for a month.

maybe your period thru your ph off, did you leave a pad or tampon for a long time???? Or new soap?? I’d use dove sensitive soap with warm water!

Wow such a vivid explanation of the smell. I sure hope it doesn’t smell like death and decay. That’s a horrible smell.

No, you need to see a doctor at an urgent care, your GP or OBGYN. Emergency rooms are for emergencies not week long ailments.
