First visit to the gynecologist

Hi! I wanna have your opinions cause I’m not sure if I’m overreacting or if I should go to a gynecologist appointment. The past month my period was late for 20 days and when it came it was like 3-4 days and it was dark brown and it had A LOT of cloths on it,this month my period was late for a week (I got it sep 29th) and ever since it’s been kinda brown too but itsnot much,it only comes out with that brown or “old” blood whenever I wipe after I go to the bathroom,to this day I’m still getting it like that but it has increased the amount of “blood” and cloths and it’s beginning to look more like red blood,I don’t know if I should go get it checked or wait to see if it stops,thanks in advance and sorry if this is tmi or may seem dumb
