Do I tell her??

A brief overview of the situation: my parents are getting divorced, I’m 19, they’re not officially divorced yet but my dad has moved out and is messaging another woman, do I tell my mom? 
My dad made it clear that he wanted to get a divorce ASAP to start seeing other women, him and my mom had been together for 21 years, and married for 16 . They’re now getting divorced, they’re still legally married but my dad’s been messaging women etc.. and we found out bc his phone notifications showed a woman’s message while he was with us. We questioned him about it and he lied to us, then eventually told us the truth: they’d been on a coffee date but it was just ‘friendly’, and they’re not taking anything further. Since then we’ve just let everything go... but his Instagram account is still logged onto my phone and I’d forgotten about it until I saw a message notification from today. He’s messaging another woman. I haven’t read the messages, I only know that they’re following each other; but she’s the only one he has a message thread with on insta. 
Do I tell my mom? They’re still technically married so is that classed as cheating? I don’t know what to do😖

No.  Its not your moms business anymore. If anyone is to tell her its your dad.

No. First it's not your business and it's not your mom's business. They are in the process of divorcing which can take some time. He's moved out and has no ties to your mother other than being "legally" married still. He can go out on dates if he wants. I'm sure this is tough on you as divorce is never easy but what your dad does is no one's business anymore

No it’s not ur moms business and why hurt her with something she doesn’t need to know? I mean most marriages are over long before divorces for me I was out of love years before but hanging on because I thought I was supposed to . Ur dad moved out, they are divorcing let it be

I’m really so confused on how people are saying it’s not her mother’s business technically her parents are still married them being separated or him moving out does not change the fact that her father is still married to her mother. This is really mind boggling that people think because he moved out it gives him the okay to mess around with other women if he want the divorce he should take the correct steps to do so.

It’s no ones business what he does... what either of them do to be honest. Their divorce and how they decide to proceed through it isn’t your business or concern. As tough as it might be, this is their business and you need to stay out of it.

No. Even if legally they’re still married, the relationship is over. At this point all it would do is hurt her - let her heal and try to find some peace without needing to know the details that he’s already talking to and seeing other women. 
A lot of times it seems that men are typically quicker to moving on after a breakup, dating and sleeping with other women, making the most of it, whereas women seem to be more likely to keep to themselves for a bit, be sad/angry, process their emotions, and then move on. The men process it later after they’re done filling their free time with distractions. As painful as it is for everyone - even you - don’t play sides or act as their messenger, just let them each do their thing

I see your just trying to figure out the right thing to do, and yet people are being rude, what a shock!! I get it, your young this is new and your just not sure what to do with the information you know. It might be a little hard to not want to tell your mom, but since they are separate and he did make it clear that he wanted to see other women, I would just leave it alone. Honestly might hurt your mom as well as already having to go through the divorce. So my opinion just let it be ! Take his IG off your phone so you don’t see his messages also.
