Why do men not like independent and working women?

Ladies I need some help on this, truth and honesty would really help, please tell me like it is because I am so confused.

So I have been single for over a year and have tried dating apps/sites recently to get back out there and hopefully meet someone. However almost every person I have talked to, tells me I’m too busy for them and that I work too much. That they don’t want to pursue a relationship with me because it seems like I am too busy for one right now due to my work.

This just really confuses me because I am 23 years old, have an apartment and yes I do work full time because I have bills? Sorry I don’t have mommy and daddy to pay my bills for me? I’m just confused on this mindset. Is working too much really such a problem that these people don’t want to even get to know me? I have weekends off I work M-F 9 hour shifts so I go to bed early and wake up early. A relationship would be nice to compliment my life, but i am no way going to rush into one or put all my energy and time into that right now. I am bringing this up because I just received a text from someone I’m talking to, who told me it seems like I’m too busy for him and he doesn’t want to talk to me anymore. How would you ladies approach that? 😩
