Bf lying?

If your boyfriend lied a lot about small / petty things would it make you feel like you couldn’t trust him? Because that’s how I feel. But my bf says that it’s ok because it’s just about something stupid. But it makes me think that he just doesn’t respect me because if he did he would know I deserve the truth no matter how dumb. How can you truly care about someone and lie to them constantly?

Men see things differently. I had the same issue with my bf telling white lies to avoid arguments and I was paranoid about him thinking if he can lie about small things he can lie about real issues. 
But I think men just want an easy life so they deflect small arguments.

It starts with the little stupid lie, then gets a little bigger but still seems insignificant. They keep growing and growing until you don’t realize how big of a mess you’re in! The biggest lying cheating scandals start with a little lie, just saying.
