Positive OPK, no BBT rise?

Hi all,
I don't know what's up with my cycle this month. I usually ovulate CD14 after a positive opk, but this month it's CD18 and two days after the positive opk and nothing. I had awful cramps yesterday and was really expecting a temp rise today but it didn't happen...
I can't see how I could ovulate 48 hours after a positive opk (my positive was at 3pm)?!
Any thoughts would be appreciated

OPK tell you ovulation is occuring within 24-48 hours. Just because you get a postive does not mean you will ovulate that day.

OPKs only tell you when you’re having an
LH surge it does not confirm ovulation. You can get a positive OPK but then not ovulate.

Two months ago I got a positive opk cd17 and I didn't ovulate until cd 21 as confirmed by BBT. It can happen.

I would keep dancing until you have confirmation with BBT. Sometimes it took me 48 to 72 hours after my first positive because id get my peak afterwards, etc.
