Why so much hate for Trump?

I don't understand why I see so much hate for him here. I don't see that on other apps and social media.

This app is more on the LBGTQ friendly side (they still need to give more pronoun options! and stop calling everyone girl) and hate speech is not allowed so that will make it more left leaning right off the bat. It is also an international app so you will see a lot more view points.

It's not just here. He is extremely unpopular outside his base. 
He lost the popular vote by a wide margin in 2016 then preceded to "run the US like one of his businesses" so horribly. 
You probably see it more here in particular because you are exposed to a lot more different political views here than things like Facebook or Twitter where your feed is more self selected. It is possible to make an echo chamber on Glow but it's more difficult.

Outside of his supporters it’s pretty typical. This platform is pretty left leaning so it makes sense.

Trump is a very far extreme. and he has a strong appeal to people who are on the conservative side of the political spectrum even if they are more moderate than Trump. Because of societal changes a lot of conservatives are feeling ignored or pushed out. Trump says things in very brash unfiltered ways that people who don't like "political correctness" really enjoy. 
But he is so very extreme in his personality and his political stance that he attracts an equally strong dislike from everyone else. The divide between people who think he is great and people who think he is horrible is around the middle right side of the the political spectrum so about 35-40%.
Couple that with the circumstances of these last few years while he was president especially the pandemic. It is very normal for leaders to become unpopular when bad things happen. Trump is actually kind of a phenomenon in that his approval rating has remained fairly steady. Most president's approval moves up and down throughout their time in office.

Honestly, there’s a huge lack of tolerance on here. I fall somewhere in the middle and on posts where I’ve talked about not voting for either candidate, lack of police training/need for police reform but not defunding I’ve been called: racist, a bootlicker, uneducated, irresponsible.. just to name a few. Maybe it’s just because of everything that’s going on in the world today that things get so heated. I think on here though that a lot of people have given up expressing differing (I’m not talking about hurtful) opinions so it just seems very one sided.
