Grumpy baby

Hi everyone-

My 18 month has always been the most easy going and happy baby. But lately she has been giving me and my husband such a hard time. In the morning she will cry and whine when we change her diaper, when we change her clothes and when she is frustrated by something. When she gets to day care she is so happy!

For example when I try and put her hair up she thrashes and cries. But at day care she lets them put in two pigtails that she clearly sat still for. I don’t get it! Any tips/tricks? Is it just a phase or just the realities of having a toddler?
