Proteins in my pee?!

Question

I’m 35 weeks today, I had an appointment my blood pressure was good, baby is measuring kinda big and I gave them a urine sample today which they are sending to the lab because it showed proteins. What could the outcome of that be if I’m not symptomatic for preeclampsia?

They will usually wait till you have protein in your urine twice to diagnose pre-eclampsia. At least they did for me.

Small amount of protein are ok but large amounts normal means preeclampsia. I had it with my first pregnancy. This pregnancy since I’ve been on baby aspirin and bp medicine since 8 weeks , my protein level came back in the normal range
