Tantrum advice for almost 2 yr olds

Anyone got any pointers on tantrums or fallouts that worked for their little ones ? My twin boys are 22 months now & will cause serious havoc anywhere. Some days I pick them up from daycare & they fight me so I can’t put them in their seat then scream at the top of their lungs all the way home. It’s quite embarrassing cause it looks as if I have no control over them 🤦🏽‍♀️. I feel like they hate me 😩. They throw bad tantrums & fallouts at home & also do the screaming thing. I feel nothing I do satisfies them even if I let them have it their way. I’ve tried talking to them calmly explaining proper ways for them to communicate when they want something, holding them until the tantrum is over & time outs but nothing works. They don’t act like this with dad or the daycare teachers & it’s starting to make me feel like a bad mom 😭😭. I’m trying my hardest but I just can’t seem to get them to listen to me. HELP !!
