Bedroom sharing ideas?

My bf and I decided we are sharing our bedroom with the baby for the first year. The only thing I’m worried about is how to make our bedroom functional for us and our baby. What are some tips you guys have? Organization ideas? I’m 22 weeks and ready to start getting our room ready for baby but have no idea where to start!

All I’m doing is having the bassinet in our room, everything else is staying in baby’s room. We live in an apartment so it’s not like we have to walk across the house to get to his room, only like 10 feet lmfao

We are sharing the room with our baby until she outgrows the bassinet. We have her bassinet next to our bed and her changetable/dresser next to our closet. Im not really sure how to give advice lol. It just depends how big your room is and what furniture you have and if you are willing to move things around or move things out temporarily if you don't have enough space. I guess my suggestion would be to try and keep the room tidy with no clutter because a messy room with two parents and a baby could be overwhelming lol. We are sharing because our kid bedrooms are upstairs and I dont want to be going up and down all day to change diapers/clothes etc with a newborn and a 2 year old (who needs to be with mommy at all times lol)

The plan is for our bub to stay in our room for 6 months. We got a bedside bassinet in our room and it has wheels on it with straps to secure it to the bed. We move it around a lot to suit our needs at the time.

You can just get a pack n play with a built in bassinet and put it in your room. I'm not sure what you mean by organization, etc?  We literally just put the baby in the room with us and moved/rearranged nothing.
