I think the context of the where is important to know. I mean, I live in the country in north TX and paid $385k for a 4/2.5 3000 sq. ft house. This same house in the Bay Area of CA would cost 2.5-3 times as much.

It had good bones but everything else was in awful shape. We've redone the majority of it though.

Ummm we paid like $80k cash- 5 years ago- and updated it completely to where it’s worth a lot more now I’m sure..
