Condoms Only?

Question

Has anyone gotten off birth control and just used condoms everytime instead?  I've tried multiple birth controls and I feel like it messes with me mentally too much to continue to be on them. I'm not currently trying to get pregnant though either. So I'm wondering if condoms everytime is something anyone does instead. Any advice is appreciated.

Yup! Did it until my husband and I were ready to conceive. I was ‘off’ birth control for 5 years total and loved it. 
Granted it’s not for everyone. You have to be responsible. We also had the mentality months before trying to conceive that a pregnancy was fine with us if we got lazy about a condom.

I've been off birth control for a few years now and been using condoms. It's worked great so far, I don't have one regular partner so I even bought a box of my own to use in case whoever I'm seeing isn't thinking about it lol. I've also been tracking my cycle more with my bbt so I know what days to be extra careful on. Birth control messed with my mental state and my sex drive too much and as of right now I can't see going back on it.

I got on birth control to help with my periods and to help prevent pregnancy even more. I’ve been sexually active for a little over a year now and had only used a condom everytime I had sex with someone because my parents refused to put me on birth control. I never once got pregnant but I did have some scares here and there
