Vacation instead of Christmas

So I’m going on vacation to Cancun from December 22 to January 2nd. My boyfriend and I were talking and we’re not sure if we should still get gifts for family? We’re going with my immediate family so parents and brother but I was wondering if I should still get gifts for his family?

Let me add that they have a 2 year old, twin 10 years olds, and a 15 year old, then obviously his parents.
