Gestational Diabetes treatments

I just failed my first glucose test. I’m doing my 3 hour soon but I am not feeling confident. I check my sugar frequently because many people in my family have it. My sugar has just been taking a long time to come down after eating. It eventually does come down just super slow. Anyone else have gestational diabetes? What treatments are you doing or have done in the past? Are you having to do insulin injections?
