Would you be upset if your kids father did this?

It's my birthday & he just went outside to go smoke with his friend. We were getting ready to go bed until my bestfriend called and said she had a surprise for me and wanted to drop off a gift. I was happy and excited and I told my bf. After that his friend called and he said his friend was going to be on his way to smoke. This really pissed me off but I acted like nothing and he knew something was wrong. I just started cleaning up and he said I was giving him attitude. I honestly have came to a point where I feel like I dont matter. Cant he wait tmrrw to do it? Am I being selfish? Does my birthday really not matter anymore cus I'm older now and have kids or what's the deal? Everyone has been asking me what hes done for me today. He didnt have anything planned. He had court so I didn't think we would do anything n I went to work (we both work together) he then picked me up early n asked what I wanted to do. We had an hour and a half til we picked up the kids. I was eating what we sell at work so we couldnt go somehwere to eat. I told him we wouldnt really have any time to do anything and we should just pick up the kids. He said we could go to downtown and take the train and bus. I got frustrated and reminded him we needed to pick up the kids he said I should call my mom and since it's my birthday she should be okay. I told him no, I did that yesterday because it was our daughters birthday and I planned something to catch up to eat with my friends so my mom helped me watch them for an extra hour & I felt bad that I had made plans already.

He ended up asking what I wanted to do & it was bugging me. He knows I like surprises, he knows I want him to plan something for me. Iv been telling him this for the past few birthdays. He asked if I wanted to do my hair, I told him I wasnt planning to cut it. He ended up going to the tattoo shop because I had mentioned before about getting my nose pierced so we got my nose pierced. He then asked if I wanted to go to the mall & I said sure. He said if I wanted to get my nails done and I said yeah so I got a manicure because I know he wasnt trying to spend alot. I ended up paying them because he waited for me outside. I toldhim.thank you but he didnt pay me back lol & I also didnt ask for it. On our way out he bought me a chiller so that was nice.

Except now hes outside with his friend and I' feel over it. Last year he didnt get me anything because he wasnt working. 3 years ago we had my daughters 1st bday halloween costume party & his mom invited random girls that showed up & I caught him flirting and winking at one of them.

Please tell me I'm not over reacting?...
