Dear Virtual Moms

Albatraoz

I know some of you guys can relate. Some of you guys don’t and God bless you if you don’t. I am a SAHM, and I opt for my kids to have virtual classes. Luckily I only have one on virtual classes the small one won’t be going till next year so I pray that this pandemic will be over soon. Well let’s get to the point. if having one kid on virtual classes is so frustrating I can’t imagine how you guys do it with 2 or more. Well my son has been going to his classes doing his work and I along with him. I make sure he doesn’t miss any assignment and try my best to keep him on track. Let me tell you that even tho I am on top of him I have seen that some teachers have post assignments not on time and that’s what keep us behind and I understand that teachers have to deal with kids on virtual and in person so I am not blaming anyone, but my point is that as it is frustrating for some of us moms it is frustrating for some kids as well. Being glued to the chair and monitor is no fun for them, so the other day after 9weeks of school my son half broke down to me and said “i don’t want to be here!” I asked him if he no longer wanted that class? He said “no! I no longer want to be in this room”. What do I say to someone who has to be in that room with no way out. I would have giving him 5min break, but he had two more virtual classes to go. So after he was done with his virtual classes I took him to go buy a pizza, and I help him with his school work for the rest of the day. It was the middle of the week so he had 2 more days to go, but let me tell you that making his day easier work for him. The following days he did work without a problem. Moms kids get tire too, and every now and then we have to become

A couple of days latter my son out of nowhere tells me. “I don’t know what I do without you!”

If you have any idea how good that felt. My point is Let’s not forget that our kids get tire too, and every now and then it’s ok to help them.
