If you know anyone with Covid, how did they fare?

Just curious. The people I’ve known with it had mild symptoms and recovered at home in a few weeks. 
I’m sorry in advance for all of those who have lost loved ones to the illness. 💗

I have know people who died from it. Me and my toddler tested positive in june. Her symptoms were pretty acute but thankfully shorter than mine. Mine were awful and with hospitals being close to full I was told to not come in unless I was actually about to not be able to breath. They put me on steroids, a wellbutrin inhaler and prescribed a small oxygen tank (like the green ones seniors have pretty much). It was the worst thing I have ever been through and for me was not even close to the flu or a bad cold. And no I have zero pre existing conditions and am a very healthy and fit person who normally doesn't even catch a cold a year. Just got me much harder than some.

I know 5 ppl personally who have got it. One of them didn’t have any symptoms, three said it was basically just a bad cold and one of them was hospitalized.

They had just been considered in remission from breast cancer. They were known to be asthmatic so when she started using her inhaler more she blamed it on allergies. Her sister made her go get checked out because the inhalers weren’t really working. She died 3 days later 😢

My husband was exposed on a Wednesday (working in a man bucket, passing tools to one another) and had a sore throat Saturday, a 101.1 fever on Sunday, extreme fatigue, and he lost his sense of taste (he already doesn’t have a sense of smell). Fever broke Sunday night and for the next couple days he just had a mild sore throat and a cough. He said he lost his sense of taste for less than 24 hours. I would say he felt almost 100% in less than a week. 
I’ve read a couple articles saying those with A blood type are far more susceptible to severe symptoms and hospitalizations. He just so happens to have A blood type. Nobody else in our household got sick or showed any sort of symptoms. I was even tested twice and received negative results both times. I believe I’m O blood type. Not sure about my son or my BIL though. My OB suggested I get an antibodies test, but I never had time. 😩

My mom had cold like symptoms and didn't spread it to anybody. She still had to watch my brothers children and my brothers came around. Nobody got sick from her. 
A long time family friend (more like acquaintance) died from covid. But I feel like that was just Karma speeding up the process for some shit he did before. 
I voted mild symptoms before I thought about him dying so.. take my vote how you want. I can vote 2 ways!

I had covid, and I was pregnant, so it hit me harder than some. I was sick for two weeks, the first week so sick I couldn’t get off the couch and my son went to stay with my parents because I was physically unable to care for him. 
(This was before they had testing available and hadn’t really set any guidelines, I just thought I had a really bad respiratory infection at the time)
The second week I was weak, and couldn’t do much, but I was able to drop chicken nuggets into the oven and my husband made dinner, so my son came home.
He also ended up getting it, and had a really high fever (he always gets a high fever when he gets sick) but nothing Motrin couldn’t take care of. (Again, before guidelines had been released, I had no way of knowing they would later say not to use that). But he was only sick for 3 days and is also now completely fine. My husband also got it, but he was very mildly sick and it was honestly not any worse than a normal cold.
