A sprinkle

Ok so I live on long island with my boyfriend and daughter. I have lived here my whole life (35years). He has been here 21years after moving here for work. We had are daughter about 2years ago. We had a baby shower for her with all our friends and my family. We are now moving to Michigan where all his family is and I am pregnant again. Is is wrong of me to want to do a baby sprinkle with his family? He thinks it's strange to want a second baby shower. Ps we don't know what we are having yet, so if if a boy he will look really silly in his sisters hand me downs. Am I wrong?
