Not sure how we can afford it.. I hear insurance doesn’t cover it.

Our clinic offered a payment plan: 20% down and equal payments over next 12 months. We paid it off within the same calendar year and itemized on taxes that year. Side note: if you're planning on having childcare for your baby, it is about the same monthly price.

At our clinic it starts at $12k without meds. If we were ever to do ivf we’d have to add everything before as well. We’ve already spent about $5k on treatments.

One round start to finish, about 20k including medications, ICSI and PGS. Without PGS, you can drop 2-3k off that cost. This does not include pre-IVF testing.
