Are pitocin contractions worse than natural contractions ? As in not induced

I was induced and had such. A terrible contractions that I couldn’t even breathe through with pretty much no time in between them. I’m scared to have another baby and I’m wondering if it’s always like that even if it’s natural or if the pitocin made it worse

They were 10x worse for me with pitocin. I got an epidural (they had to stick me twice) and I had absolutely zero relief from the epidural, which makes me think they missed or my body just doesn't take it well. I felt ALL the pain. It's day and night compared to natural contractions.

Yes they are worse than natural contractions the medication makes it that way but everybody has different reactions to it so it may not be painful to you whereas it may be painful to another

Everyone I know is scared of pitocin. They do say it’s wayyyy worse. I’m getting induced Wednesday so fml 🙄

For me with my first labor they were worse and I couldn't handle it without an epidural, second labor they were normal contractions and gave birth naturally with no pain medications. Each time is different I think and the mindset you are in I believe makes a big difference as well.

My water broke at home and they started pitocin to get my contractions to start. I was so nervous they were going to be awful but I didn’t feel them at all. They were coming every minute and the nurse turned the pitocin down at one point to space them out but I literally felt nothing. They started pitocin at noon and I went without an epidural until 11:30pm. It was not at all what I expected. Everyone has such crazy different experiences.

For me they weren’t since I had some pain meds the whole time.
I felt like they were more controlled and I was relaxed.
When I went into labor the contractions hit me real quick and I was hurrrting bad.
