Dealing with a glitter dress

I got a beautiful gown for my bday but it drops glitter soooo much ☹️

Ive been rolling it with a lint roller and shaking it as much as i can

Ive read that u can spray it with hairspray. Has anyone done this? Water repellent spray?

Im getting anxiety about leaving glitter all over my uber and we are going to a nice restaurant so i dont want to embarrass myself with a glitter trail

Im def not gonna get another dress cause i look amazing, just looking for any advice from anyone who has dealt with this before. I usually 100% stay away from glitter

Also kinda paranoid that i will be a fire hazard if im covered in hair spray lol
