Common worry?

How many of you in a previous pregnancy or current that was terrified of miscarriage in the beginning but went on to have a healthy pregnancy?

Answer

Your feelings aren’t going to change your chances of having a MC. Lots of women are scared of MC and go on to have healthy pregnancies. Lots of women scared of a MC have a MC. It’s just a roll of the dice. 
Try and be easy and positive because at the end of the day it is all out of your control. 
My last was a MC and now I’m 12w and going strong. Being terrified doesn’t accomplish anything but making ourselves miserable.

I've been TERRIFIED both pregnancies and both were amazing pregnancies. I'm not about 5 weeks with this one and equally as terrified before. Praying I'm just being crazy like usual

My first pregnancy, I bled around week 5 or 6, went for an ultrasound at the hospital and they could only see a yolk sack. They told me I miscarried, then came back to the room 2 minutes later and said “Wait... maybe not.” My husband and I were left for a week in limbo wondering if I was still pregnant or not, waiting for another ultrasound at my OB. When we finally got it,  the baby was fine! We saw a heartbeat, and the doctor said I was probably a week behind what I had thought I was which is why they couldn’t see anything. My pregnancy was fine after that, no more scares. 
Now she’s a healthy 4 year old.  :)

Doesn’t matter what pregnancy and what woman- we always worry about losing our baby. That maternal instinct kicks in as soon as we know we are pregnant and we want to protect our baby- even tho normally miscarriages just happen (except for people who drug use, smoke, drink and live a lifestyle that doesn’t promote a healthy pregnancy) we have no control over them. It’s normal but try not to stress too much- you don’t want to put your body through unnecessary stress on that baby.

I'm currently in my third healthy pregnancy and I've worried about miscarriage with all of my pregnancies though I've never actually miscarried. It's definitely a common worry I think
