Does baby recognize you?

I’m not sure if my son recognizes me. He doesn’t necessarily get excited when he sees me. Once I go o er to him and start talking he’ll smile and coo with me, but no leg kicking and overall excitement the minute he sees me. He just turned 4 months. I feel really silly asking this as I am not a first time mom. 😩

I think my LO gets bored of me 😂
 Sure he looks happy to see me but boy does he put on a show when his dad gets home from work; kicking squealing smiling laughing. 
 A tiny bit jealous but my heart almost explodes watching their relationship blossom. (He didn’t want much to do with his dad the first couple months) 😂😂

My little guy loves my mom (his Mamie) gets excited when I FaceTime her or he sees her in person. He also adores my 14 year old son but really doesn’t show much interest in me but I’m home with him all day so I can’t blame him

My son gets giddy when my husband walks in the room. Kicks his legs and just grins so big. He doesn’t do this for me 😒 but I think it’s bc he sees me ALL day and only sees my husband at night 🤷🏼‍♀️  like you said, I can get him to small and coo at me but it’s different excitement when he sees my husband for some reason.

Mine turned 4 months on the 17th. She recognizes my face and I like to think she gets more excited when she shes my face versus anyone elses. I do work full time but i breast feed exclusively so i think that makes a difference that i feed her at night and anytime im home. Im pretty sure she knows my voice too as soon as i walk in the door and she hears me she gets excited with the leg kicking and wide eyes.
