I used a big Ameda at the hospital for 5 days after my first was born. It was extremely painful and it didn’t collect any milk! Usually the big hospital ones are more effective than the personal ones, so I’d stay away from Ameda. I’ve heard good things about Medela, but I had a Spectra S1 for my first and I really liked it.

Can’t give any feed back. But I just got the Ameda Mya through insurance for my baby that’s due next month. I wanted the portability since I’ll have a toddler as well.
