Feeding baby.. What do you think?

My baby girl is 3 months old she normally eats 4 oz bottle formula every 4 hours. She weighs 10 lbs 6 oz. She sleeps through the night from 8pm to 6 am. Doctor said her weight is to low for her age and needs to eat 5oz every 3 hours and wake her up at night every 3 hours to sleep. Does her weight seem good to any other moms? How much does your baby weigh at 3 months? She sleeps so good at night I really dont want to mess with her but I dont want her weight to be bad either.

It does seem like she’s eating too little . My baby is a month and doctor said to start getting her to about 3-4oz

Yeah I would go up. My daughter just turned 2 months yesterday and eats 4 oz every 4 hrs and weighs 9 lbs. she’s on the low end for her age, but we’re working on it.

Has her growth curve changed? Some babies are bigger some smaller it’s an issue though when they’ve significantly fallen off their curve.
If you need to feed more try feeding more during the day and then maybe add a dream feed right before you go to bed

My son is 3 months and weighs I think around 11 pounds and only eats 4 oz about 6 times in a 24 hour period but he won’t drink more. My son is a preemie though and has been on the lower side. Try to bump up the oz maybe if your doctor is concerned.

Our girls are almost 8 weeks old and weigh 9lbs 8oz and 8lbs 9oz and have been eating 4oz bottles and we’re about to move up to 5-6oz for only 1st morning feed and last night feed and keep them on 4oz during the day the girls eat anywhere from 3-4 hours during the day; our girls also sleep through the night 🙌🏼 our doctor did not have any concerns of them sleeping through the night at our last visit! I would just up their bottle feeds :)

My son is 2 months and eats about 5oz every 3 hours or so. He was 5 13 when he was born and now he’s 11 8, but he’s a chunky boy 😂

My daughter weights 8.12 and eats every 3 to 4 hours only 3oZs doctor says she’s good and healthy and she is 1 month old (when born she was 7.9)
