Metformin & PCOS

So im looking for feedback..not seeking to get pregnant but for the first time in years my PCOS has caused my body to completely go out of wack...my last cycle was August 4th and lasted 4 days..I started metformin yesterday and was prescribed progesterone for 14 days..i also have 1½ bottles left from my previous pregnancy that ended at 19 weeks in april..so i want to continue taking those..the goal is to start my period and regulate my cycle/hormones..i also have BC pills because when i took metformin last year i got pregnant and that ended at 6 weeks..has anybody had results or seen your PCOS get better with these 2?
