Did my water break???

Question

So i woke up around midnight with a gush of fluid coming out. I immediately stood up and went to the bathroom, alittle more came out but then stopped. I was wearing black underwear so i can’t see the color, but doesn’t really have a smell to it. 
Has anyone else’s water broke and then stopped leaking?  I currently have a pad on to see if i leaks anymore but it’s been about an hour and i haven’t leaked so thinking maybe urine? I’m 37 + 1 today.

I had leaking 2 days ago and when I told my doctor she told me as long as it stopped then you’re fine 
It’s better to contact your doctor they’ll know better

My first pregnancy my water broke just about the same time. It didn’t feel like uncontrollably wetting myself but felt more like when you are on your period and stand up after a while and feel a bit of a rush of fluids down there, but instead of blood was just fluid! If I coughed/laughed it would come out and when I stood up it would leak. Ended up wearing a diaper to the hospital so I didn’t ruin any pants. Mine didn’t stop though. It repeatedly had these rushes of fluid all the way to the hospital where they confirmed it was my water. About 24 hours are my baby was born!

Was it like u peed urself? Like uncontrollable? If so then yes it did. I don’t think mine kept leaking it was more a gush of a lot of fluid and then that’s it. Soaked my pants.
