12 month visit

Okay so I realize this is a silly question, but oh well... My son has his 12 month well check this afternoon and I just realized I have no idea what I should bring him in to the office in. The last time he went to an in-person Dr visit he was still small enough to be in his infant car seat/carrier. His current toddler stroller is a pain to get in and out of the car (it has to be broken down into pieces and then reassembled) so I'm inclined to just carry him in, but his Dr's office is on the 4th floor. Would that be weird? What did you all do?
