Period or miscarriage?

My period was 10 days late. My cramps are way worse than usual. I took two tests before I got my period one positive then took another a couple days later. That one was negative. I finally got my period, but yesterday I had an abnormally large blood clot come out. I’ve had clots before but this one was VERY big and it seems like I’m having more blood clots than usual. I am also running a temperature. What could this be?
