Anyone take Estradiol? (For Menometrorrhagia)

I’ve had the worst cramping in both my lower abdomen and lower back plus excessive bleeding

for 22 days so I went to the doctor and she diagnosed me with Menometrorrhagia which is basically what’s happening to me, prolonged excessive bleeding and such.

She prescribed me 1 mg of estradiol (estrogen pills) to help, but it can make PMS symptoms worse which was kinda the point of going to the doctor?

Has anyone have/had the same problem? And what helped?
