HPV high risk

Hello there,

So I got my results back from my Pap just now and my doc informed me that I still have HPV high risk but I’m negative for strains 16,18 and some others that she named off. I asked her did I need to schedule a colposcopy and she proceeded to tell me no because the strains she named off are normally the ones that cause cancer and also that my cells were in “normal” range. I’m at a lost here cause since being diagnosed back in April of last year when pregnant with my daughter I never understood this 🦠 virus. I’m just a nervous wreck I want to believe things will be ok but I don’t want to be waiting for an entire year to pass then it develops into something else. Life is hard man it’s always something to worry about I’m over it. Anyone here with the same experience? Do share.. surely I’m not in this alone..
