Best books for my almost 4y/o?

He’ll be 4 in December and has been showing a lot of interest in learning how to read. Any tips on where to start or some books to get? I think I’ll look into preschool homeschool curriculum also if anyone has tips there

I am a kindergarten teacher, and we start with books that have predictable text, where each page is the same but one different word. A good book to start with is Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See. Point to the words as you read. He will probable be able to memorize it, but it’s a good start! He will love that he can “read” the book by himself! They need to be able to identify letters and sounds to be able to actually read and sound out words, which typically doesn’t happen until 5-6 years old, but some kids can read earlier than that.
