Heart skipping a beat ? Literally !

Has anyone experienced their heat skipping a beat occasionally ? It scares me makes me feel like something might be wrong . I looked it up and it said that heart palpitations during pregnancy is normal . Should I be concerned? Has this happen to you ?

This happens to me too. Just try to keep track of when it happens and tell your doctor just in case but mine told me not to worry. Mine happens mostly when I’m out of breath or stand up too quickly and walk around. Make sure you’re standing up slow and giving yourself a second to adjust to being upright.

Yes! This happened with my first pregnancy at around 24 weeks and continued until after birth. 
I had some tests done but they didn’t find anything. Of course it would never happen when I was with my doctor or getting ekg’s but my doctor said he thought it could be because of all the extra blood pumping through my body. 
It’s started around 20 weeks with this pregnancy but he doesn’t feel overly concerned about it again. 
I’d mention it to your doctor just to be safe :)
