Drying up breast milk while pregnant ?

Has anyone been trying to dry up their breast milk and stop production but then found out they were pregnant? If so what did you do?

It’s been a week now that I haven’t pumped. My daughter is 13 months old and I’ve had to exclusively pump the entire time. A week ago I stopped. My breast are so sore and engorged and still leak constantly. I’m about 6 weeks pregnant and I cant take a lot of the herbal things I’ve seen recommended. I’ve tried cabbage leaves, ice packs .. I don’t know what else to try.

Being pregnant will that just tell my body to keep producing it?

What was your experience with this? Advice ? Thoughts?
