Cleaning gums ?

I am no longer able to breastfeed my baby due to a milk protein soy allergy making her poop blood we are on a medical formula please don’t shame me about not breastfeeding as it sad enough seeing my baby in pain now that she’s on formula how often should I brush her gums

I never brushed my son’s. They told me to start wiping/brushing when he got teeth. I’ll do the same for my daughter.

If anyone shames you, screw them. I was judged in the hospital for giving up on breastfeeding after birth (I never had my heart set on it, but I tried it). It was killing my son, and so was milk formula. My son has Classic Galactosemia. Even after I explain my son cant have milk products at all, I'm still silently judged for not breastfeeding.

I bought some oral mouth cleaners for my daughters tongue because the formula does coat the tongue .. I normally do it twice a week sometimes once

You don’t need to brush them just take a wet washcloth and wipe them down after she’s done with a bottle
