So for now we live with husbands family hopefully not for long but I hate how every time she makes something like hot chocolate or things like that my husband gets what she makes and nene r asks me to make it for him

Is she offering to make it? I usually say yes if someone offers something they are already making, but wouldn’t ask someone to make me something. Either way though, I wouldn’t really care. You need to figure out why it bothers you and sort yourself out.

Are there other issues where he doesn’t set boundaries with his mother? This feels like it has to be bigger than hot chocolate. I could understand this just being the thing that triggered a reaction.

Is she offering to make you some? If its only drinks I wouldn’t be to bothered, maybe she doesn’t expect you to do them but if she was doing everything for him like a toddler then it would be a bit wierd. also does he not make his own drinks ever?
