Husband doesn’t want another baby but I do 😞

A little back story, I have ALWAYS wanted 2 kids. For me personally, I don’t like the idea of my kid being an only child. I want him to have someone to grow up with and have that sibling bond. However, I feel 3 would be a lot so 2 has always been my set number. My husband is not a “kid person”. It took years for him to come around to having our son. It was rough at first but I thought things were going really well now that our son is a little older. My husband seems to really enjoy his time with our son rather than stressing about it like he did when he was a new born. A few months back my husband told me that he agrees that we should have a second kid because our son deserves someone to grow up with. The plan, so I thought, was for me to get off of my birth control when our son turned 18 months (he’s about to be 13 months now). Fast forward to tonight, and my husband told me that he absolutely does not want another kid because he doesn’t want to “deal with it”. He has been pretty stressed out at work lately due to an increase in business and a mandatory 6th work day. I work part time and lately it has been a little hard to work out child care. So maybe that is where this is all coming from, but it just broke my heart to think that I’ll never get my second baby. I’m SO incredibly blessed to have been able to have my son, but I just really wanted him to be able to grow up with a little brother or sister. And it’s probably selfish, but I just LOVE being a mom so much and want more than 1 babe to spoil and love on. But I know bringing another baby into the picture will be hard at first and I will need a lot of support and help and if he’s not willing to give me that it won’t work. I just don’t even know how to handle the situation 😭 This was all a phone conversation and I just told him I was going to bed so we didn’t end up arguing about it.
