Bed sharing?

Is anyone doing or planning to bed share? I’m breastfeeding and was recommended bed sharing but am terrified to do so.

I bed shared with my son. He’s still in my bed 🤣 I’m hoping to get baby girl to sleep in her own spot. We don’t have a big enough bed for 4 of us 🙈 but breastfeeding was so easy co-sleeping.

Me and my husband sleep way too deeply for it.  I could never . I breastfed for 9 months . She was in a bassinet and then moved to crib .  It worked great for us and she still sleeps in her own room now at 3 years old.   But I know some ppl love the co sleeping . You’ll know once you have your baby . I think it’s pretty personal.

I got a bedside cosleeper bassinet, so the baby has her own space, there is no risk of someone rolling on her or pillows/blankets in her space, but I can still reach over and grab her easily.  With my first, she slept in a bassinet. To be honest, I always wanted to get out of bed to breastfeed her anyway. She wasn’t a very efficient eater, so I needed to stay awake and hold her in place and use a brest friend pillow. She never was good at side-lying nursing, even when she was 4-5 months. So I think it depends on the person/baby!

Me. I did it with my first (breastfed) also doing it with this one. It’s a lot more convenient. She will have her own little bed mat to sleep on in bed.

My SIL did and said it was way easier. She recommended I do it too but I will be using a bassinet while he’s super new
