Pitocin hellllllpppp

With my first baby my water broke so they were quick to load me on pitocin to get labor going... it was horrible. I basically had contractions stacked on top of each other. It felt like a non stop uterine charley horse. The contraction would end and roll right into another one with no break in between. It took me like 3 minutes to be able to sit up (in stages) just to get the epidural. I’m just wondering if they over did it with the pitocin...I’m being induced for medical reasons this time and I’m so nervous about ending up on pitocin. I would love to avoid an epidural but if that happens again there is absolutely no way I’ll be able to get through that.

Does anyone have anything nice to say about pitocin? Or can confirm they probably did me dirty? 😅
