39+6 due 11/12 updates
I have not felt baby move and I did drink apple juice to see if that helps her. My doctor said I should still be feeling 10 kicks within an hour. I laid on my left side and nothing. I let my husband know and being suggested that we go to sleep and have both of our hands on my stomach and see what happens. He said he thinks we should that first since he thinks it will be a waste of our time and energy driving 30 minutes to the birth center just to find out she's ok and he thinks it will be a waste of his mom's time and sleep since we live his parents and his mom gets worried.
I have had a loss of twins at 38 weeks via emergency c section in 2015 and a miscarriage of twins in 2017. Our oldest was born at 32 weeks via vbac and our second was born at 38 weeks via elected c section.
I am really scared and worried as this is my longest pregnancy. I told my husband since we are not going because he doesn't want to waste our time that if something happens to her I would do something and he will regret it. I understand that he doesn't want to waste his time or his mom's but he knows my fear.
What would you do?
Update 1': We went into the birth center my husband had to wait in the car while I was in triage being monitored. Baby girl is ok she's healthy as they saw her heart rate and did a full biophysical ultrasound which came back everything is good. Estimated weight 8 lbs 10 oz.
Update 2:
The doctor who saw gave me a scare and said if I go into spontaneous labor and I'm still 1cm dilated and I have not gone further than 1 cm the doctors are only going to help me so much before they say c section. My doctor won't be there for anything unless it's a day he's on call. The nurse was actually a doctor who told me that the doctors there will only help me so far before pushing c section on me. The nurse in charge of monitoring me & our baby told me that the doctor should not have said that to me. The nurse told me that I have a voice and since I've been getting good prenatal care I'm in good hands
