COVID finally showed its ass

li

I’m posting this because I told y’all I would share what happened to me if I got covid because I posted about how it was affecting my perfectly healthy teenage brother and how it was like a minor cold for him, and I was shocked about it. I expected more of it and feared getting it myself because I’m a SEVERE asthmatic.

Now I’m going to share how it affected me which is even more shocking because I really believed I could die. I didn’t post it because it would have just made people mad again. The worst thing that happened was severe stomach pain, and I don’t want to downplay that because it was knock you on your knees stomach pain. That lasted 2 days.

No diarrhea or any stomach issues though, I was using the bathroom just the same. I don’t know why my stomach was hurting so bad, it was like my internal organs were pissed.

On the side I had swollen lymph nodes in my neck, a sore throat and a very minor dry cough and headaches. Added: i also lost the ability to taste food or smell anything and everything was gross. I am proud of my body because guys.. I can’t handle anything. Strep wipes the floor with my ass, if I get sick I get SIIICK because I have a horrible immune system. I am lowkey proud of my body for fighting this shit off so well.

Covid is making its way through our family. We are all quarantined but were all exposed to each other before anyone tested positive so we allll are getting it.

My mom had it as well and she’s also high risk because she has an autoimmune disorder. She felt like crap, lost her voice and slept more than usual but still got up and cleaned her house and talked to me on the phone all day.

NOW, covid is finally showing its ass. My moms boyfriend has it.

He is so fucking sick that he cannot take care of himself. My mom is “mothering” him. He’s delirious. He’s got a high fever, a hacking cough, he’s throwing up, has diarrhea, headaches and severe body aches. He hasn’t gotten out of bed for an entire day.

If he declines anymore than what he’s at now, my mom is taking him to the hospital. She’s trying to get fluids down him so he will pee but if she can’t, she’ll be taking him in because he’s going to get dehydrated.

I also want to add that when you get over covid you’re good for 90 days. So it’s okay that my mom is taking care of him because she’s recovered and fine.

Her boyfriend has no underlying health conditions. He’s an otherwise healthy grown man. He’s not a smoker and he coaches basketball so he’s active and fit.

The person who had it the easiest was the healthy teenage boy of the family. The worst is a healthy grown man. I’m worried about him and will keep checking in and update you guys on him.

It was mildly rough on me and my mom the two high risk people.

This is simply me just sharing how I personally see covid-19 affecting myself and my loved ones. It is true that it affects every single person differently

Update: he started feeling better earlier. Well, better than he was and got some food and water down and has kept it down and is now sleeping

ETA: I want to add that we were all carefull.

It sounds like it went through my whole family.

But we live in a whats like a small compound together

There are TWELVE people living on this property. My brother barely showed symptoms of covid and he was “sick” with what looked like minor allergies for 2 days before testing positive. During those two days, he was interacting with everyone.

Eating dinner with us, hanging out in the living room.

Then my mom just had a gut feeling and quarantined him to his bedroom and bathroom and took him to get tested and to our complete shock he tested positive.

4 out of twelve people is not that bad. We’ve all continued to quarantine to our own houses.

I mean I had covid-19 and was living with someone and he’s yet to test positive or show symptoms.
