Is my boyfriend using me?

Question

Ok so he bought a house for $195K 
It’s a 2 master bedroom house 
So I share a room with my boyfriend and we are renting the other room to his friend
Well me and his friend are paying $650 each a month 
The mortgage is $1128 and it’s a townhouse out in the middle of no where so the water bill and power bill and everything else is $330
Does this seem fair to you? 
That I am paying $650 a month?
My bf pays about $150 a month 
He refuses for me to pay less because he bought the house and put a 16k down payment 
My parents are upset about this

Your bf pays insurance, interest, bills, property taxes ... if the house is in HIS name, there is a lost more going on than him just paying 150$ a month I can assure you. Not to mention the responsibility if either of you or the roommate decide to leave suddenly.

This arrangement dosent do you any favors. 
Hes essentially made you his tenant and he your landlord. You live there for two years and you pay him back his down payment. When you guys break up, you've helped him pay his mortgage and you get nothing.

It’s a two bedroom home, having one tenant renting out the other bedroom is normal... but he’s also charging you the same amount to share a bedroom with him? 
 
If you weren’t his gf, he typically wouldn’t be able to rent out HIS room at all, and still stay in it.
As a homeowner, my mortgage price includes all taxes, insurances, PMI, HOA etc. Also, he can afford the home alone, otherwise he wouldn’t of been able to buy the home alone. 
Imo, he’s getting over on you.

So pretty sure I've seen your post before and you are really not understanding home ownership. 1) there is extra cost for insurance. 2) cost of the upkeep of a home. 3) cost for the difference in the energy and gas bills depending on the season. 4) association fees, dues, or cost of outside exteriors. 5) internet 6) if he didn't pay 20% for the home on his down payment he has to pay a PMI. 7) an emergency fund if someone pays late and or for cushion so that he doesn't fall behind.
You agreed to a number before moving in and now you don't like it. You could move out.
My suggestion to you is to always pay with check and or from the same checking account and keep a record. Say you get married the home is legally his because it is an asset before marriage. Now say you get a divorce. You can prove you have paid such an amount toward the value of the home making you partially fiscally beneficiary.
I do think that your deal is fair. I think your parents are biased. I suggest you actually talk with him about bills. I think this is why many relationships benefit from being married as it protects all parties. I lived with my husband for 4 years before getting married and we just made sure to always have open discussions about money and our goals with our money. Helped take away the fear of yours vs. Mine. If he put down the money and the house is in his name he can really charge whatever he wants for rent. 
Personally, I would still expect you to pay more than him but not nearly that much since you’re his gf. Most people just try to ease the mortgage and tax costs if they rent to friends not almost break even.

You're paying the same as the friend in the other room and get half the space. You are also helping him pay down his mortgage. If you were to move out you'd get nothing back. If he sells his place he gets all his money and the money you put into it. Out of the 3 residents, you're getting the least out of the deal.

I mean $650 isn’t all that much. That’s what I pay for my rent. I don’t pay any bills or buy groceries (unless it’s something I specifically want). My cousin (aka my landlord) pays for everything else. There’s a lot more to it than bills and “rent”. If anything should happen to the house, then he’s going to be the one to pay for it. And like mznik said, if one of y’all were to leave, then he’s obviously going to have to pay that portion as well. You went into it knowing how much you were going to pay. My mom does the same thing as yours. She’s always trying to guilt my cousin to lower my rent, but I told her that I moved here knowing my rent was $650, so it’s not fair to go back on it.
