Is obesity just as unhealthy as anorexia?

I haven't seen this topic much and I know it may be considered "sensitive" but I'm curious about what other women have to say. No arguments please, it's just a question.

Yes, any extreme weight (or lack of) is unhealthy.

No. Obesity purely refers to weight. Anorexia is not just being underweight. It is not possible to have anorexia and be healthy (ie illness free) because anorexia IS an illness, while obesity is not. There are problems associated with obesity, but not everyone who is obese suffers from illnesses/diseases

You can be obese and have anorexia. Anorexia is an eating disorder and is mental. Being obese is not, it could be a result of an eating disorder but not necessarily.

Any type of weight gain or weight loss above 15% (correct me if i’m wrong) of what it is supposed to be is an issue.
