4 yr old wearing pads

So my daughter wants to be just like her mom. I took her into the bathroom with me and she saw me change my pad and she wants to wear pads too. So I bought her a cheap box of panty liners and she’s been wearing them in her underwear. Well today when I picked her up from preschool they wanted me to know she was wearing them and I said thank you I know, I bought them for her. Did I do something wrong? I thought it was harmless and she’s my daughter. Thoughts?
